This resource blog was established in response to the evolving needs of humans in the local New River Valley area who are experiencing challenges as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. As time permits, resources are being compiled by veterinary social workers at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.

Per the waiver from U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), social work services for the Veterinary Teaching Hospital will continue during COVID-19 using telehealth and remote communications technologies.
