Obituary

Dr. McGregor Ferguson, 41, of Millersville, died August 12 at his home.

He was born in Arnold on January 27, 1971, the son of Ray and Jan Ferguson of Baltimore.

Dr. Ferguson graduated from Wroxeter Academy then Severna Park High School class of 1989 where he was President of his Senior Class and played lacrosse and football. He graduated from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania and received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his medical and surgical internship with the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Ferguson has been with CVCA since August 2000, primarily at AAEVC in Annapolis.

Dr. Ferguson achieved board certification from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, the College of Cardiology.

His specialties included: client education, cardiac surgery, cardiac catheterization and pacemaker implantation.

In addition to his wife, Christina Marie (Marsella) Ferguson. and parents, Dr. Ferguson is survived by his children, Grace (9), Claire (6), and Alexander (5) of Millersville, as well as his brother, Dr. Andrew Ferguson and his wife, Karen, and children, Cole and Reed all of Chestertown.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, at St. Martin's in- the- Field, 375 Benfield Rd., Severna Park.
