Obituary
Rebecca Kay "Becky" Davidson (Thompson), age 38, of Lakewood, CO, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018, after a fiercely fought two-year battle with breast cancer.
Becky grew up in Mount Juliet, TN, and received a BS in Biology from Tennessee Technological University in 2002. She married Brad in 2003 and obtained a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia Tech in 2007. She and Brad moved to Denver, CO, where she practiced medicine at Columbine Animal Hospital. In 2011, she left veterinary medicine to be a full-time homemaker and mother.
She was known to everyone that met her for her incredible kindness, gentle green eyes, and squinty smile. Becky was an athlete (gymnast, triathlete), an avid outdoor adventurer (mountain biker, alpine climber, backcountry skier), a passionate reader, a letter writer, and crafter. She enjoyed doing anything with her husband and children, especially in the mountains. Becky attended Skyview Presbyterian Church in Centennial, CO.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Brad; children, Tristan (7), Laurel (4), and Samuel (3); grandfather, Robert Thompson Sr; parents, Robert Jr "Bob" and Linda Thompson; brother, Robert Thompson III; niece, Grace; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins; in-laws, Steve and Linda Davidson; brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Brittany Davidson; nieces, Kajsa, Aubrey, and Olivia.
