Dr. Poisker was a valued member of our CVM community and the Class of 1996. His contributions to the college and the profession of veterinary medicine have made a lasting impact. He will continue to be remembered fondly and missed dearly.

Obituary

Ronald (Rogn) John Poisker born on August 30, 1943, in Bucks County, Pa., passed away peacefully on Sunday November 28, 2021, at home with family present.

Rogn is survived by his wife, Karen Coons Poisker; his daughter, Tanya Xanthe Poisker; son, Ian Rogn Poisker; daughter in law, Diana Prestileo-Poisker; two grandsons, Hank and Lucas Poisker. His memories will also be shared by his sister, Eileen Paula Poisker; and his stepmother, Marjorie Poisker.

Rogn was preceded in death by his father, John Doegel Poisker; and his mother, Stella Constance Cekaitis.

A celebration of life will be held on December 18, 2021, at Holloway Funeral Home P.A, 501 Snow Hill Road Salisbury, MD 21804. A visitation will begin at 1 p.m. with the celebration memorial service to begin at 2 p.m.

A private internment will be held later.
