Dr. Renshaw was a valued member of our CVM community and the Class of 2005. Her contributions to the college and the profession of veterinary medicine have made a lasting impact. She will continue to be remembered fondly and missed dearly.

Obituary

Dr. Amy Baker Keith Renshaw, age 37, of North East died on Saturday June 1, 2013 at home. She was born on December 9, 1975 in Erie, Pa. to Michael and Janet Kalinowski Baker of North East. She was a graduate of St. Gregory's Parish School, North East High School (1994), and Virginia Maryland Regional Veterinarian School (2005). Amy loved animals and owned & operated Hometown Veterinary Hospital in North East for the past five years. She was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother, Priscilla Dougherty Kalinowski and a paternal grandfather, Vernon (Barney) Baker. In addition to her parents, Amy will be sadly missed by her husband Jack Renshaw whom she married March 31, 2012; children, Kayla Keith of North East, Justin Renshaw of Wesleyville, & Julie Renshaw of Virginia Beach; a sister, Sarah Baker Sayers of North Hampton, Pa.; paternal grandmother, Zelda Baker Overberger of Erie and maternal grandfather, John J. Kalinowski of Lawrence Park; a nephew, Aiden Sayers; a niece, Addison Sayers; aunts & uncles, Larry & Ruth Kalinowski of St. Louis, Joyce & Robert Uglow of North East, Janet & Don Bucheral of North East, Linda & Terry Henderson of La Quita Calif, Joan & George Myers of Harborcreek, and Mary & Paul Youclan of Summit, Pa.; brother and sister-in-laws; John & Marion Armstrong, Al & Charlene Renshaw, Tom & Martha Renshaw, Anthony & Gloria Ferritto all of Lawence Park, Margaret Renshaw of Portland, Oregon, Richard & Barbara Maxwell of Lemoyne, Pa., and Earl Renshaw of Erie; also several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Marks the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 695 Smithson Avenue, Lawrence Park.
