Dr. Friedel was a valued member of our CVM community and the Class of 2005. Her contributions to the college and the profession of veterinary medicine have made a lasting impact. She will continue to be remembered fondly and missed dearly.

Obituary

ELIZABETH ANNE FRIEDEL, D.V.M died suddenly on October 5, 2007. Elizabeth Anne Friedel, D.V.M., cherished daughter of David H. Friedel Sr. and his wife Diane (nee Mallalieu); dear and loving sister of David H. Friedel, Jr. and his wife Courtney. Dr. Friedel graduated class of 1993, The Academy of the Holy Cross; Summa Cum Laude, Arizona State University 1997 and graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine 2005 at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. A Funeral Service will be held at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Rd., (beltway exit 26) on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment is Private. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. If so desired contributions may be directed to the Humane Society of the United States, 2100 L St., NW, Washington, DC 20037.
